I think that a classic text is an older book that everyone loves, one that could never get old and no one ever got sick of reading that book. An example of a classic text for me is the mote book, which has been out for almost two decades. Many people still love the book, and then was made into a movie. I think that the notebook is a classic text because even if it is a some what older book, it is always a good book to read. What book do you think is a classic text and why?

A classic is a text that is fiction or nonfiction that represents a struggle or a success in the time or around the time the book was published. For example books like "Around the world in 80 days" or "The three musketeers" these books are classics. I do not know how many classics I have read but I would probably enjoy reading one. What is a classic?
A classic is a book that includes relating to all time periods, different societies, and different cultures. A lot of classics include the values in good and bad things, and resisting temptation. Classics also show the truth. An example of a classic is Beauty and the Beast. This is an example of a classic because it is showing people that it doesn't matter how somebody looks, what really matters is their personality, what's on the inside.

A classing is a book or a piece of literature that is and will be remembered for a log time or forever. A classic connects with the people who read it. An example is beauty and the beast because that shows that true beauty is on the inside

A classic text has many different ways of showing it is classic. "One of the ways you know it's a classic text because it is timely, it either expresses or influences the times". For example, Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, revealed the realities of the Holocaust and what it was like to hide from the Nazis during their occupations of Netherlands. Another reason is, "classic deal with themes that touch all periods of history, all societies, and all cultures." For example, Beauty and the Beast proclaims that the exterior is not what really counts. Lastly, classic text show the value of resisting temptation to compromise in order to reach the goal. Do you know any other ways of a classic text?

The qualities of a classic are the timelessness and how it influences something.Because only classic books are timeless and always teach you something or influences something to you.For example classic books are timeless like Shakespeare or Dr.seuss those both are classic and always timeless. Also books are influential they already teach you something for example Oliver Twist teaches how hard it was to be an orphan.

What is a classic? A classic is a story that timely but not timeless. Classics also deal with all times is history and all cultures. It also has themes that have good versus evil, love and forgiveness or personal values. In most classics the hero of the story has one or more major obstacles he has to overcome to be able to reach his goal. A classic story almost tells itself however not without surprises. And all characters are believable even in their depth. A classic is a book that everyone loves to read.
What is your favorite classic story?

A classic is a book or written sentence that can be a fun story that has been told throughout decades. An example might be beauty and the beast because children and adults have enjoyed this story for many years now. I would call it timely. Not timeless.

What is a classic? Well a classic is a timely book. It distinguishes the times it was written like the book "Uncle Toms Cabin" showed that there was a darker and more terrible side to slavery. Classics also show themes that deal with all time periods all societies and all cultures. Some of those themes include things like good vs evil and how the consequences can come from both, or success against all odds. Most classics come from a long time ago and at first don't get the greatest recognition. Shakesphere for example is very old while not getting terrible reviews it is still really old. What do you think a classic is???

what is a classic? post
A classic is a book that has timeline to it!
what makes a classic is having a timeline to it! For example in the book “ Anne Frank the diary of a young girl” it follows the timeline of world war 2 and what it was like ti hid from the Nazis and the fear of Hitler! Another example of a classic is the book “Out Of the Dust” it takes time during the great depression and sheds light on what it was like to live during this time period!

A classic text is a story that is very well written and has been told/read for many year just like the book hamlet, romeo & juliet, moby dick so on so on. Most classic texts have a important moral/theme hiding in the book like romeo & juliet the moral of that is that love will never stop you from finding it. Or the story may have something that no one would ever believe would happen. Have you ever read a classic text before???
