For example:
The importance of getting a doctor stood out to me. "A wonderful thing, a memorable thing, to want a doctor. To get him would be a remarkable thing. The doctor never came to the cluster of brush houses Why should he, when he had more than he could do to take care of the rich people who lived in the stone and plaster houses of the town" (7). These sentences stood out to be because they show that Kino and his people are not rich, but the doctor is. The text says "he had more than he could do to take care of the rich people" (7). The doctor is too busy taking care of the rich people to worry about the poor people who can not pay him as much. This quote shows that Kino and his people are not rich. I think the doctor is selfish for only taking care of the rich people. What do you think of the doctor?
